About me
I'm a Birmingham based freelance lighting camera operator & independent video production specialist. I have more than a decade of experience working across a variety of sectors of the video production industry all over Europe.
My main area of expertise is shooting in the corporate, commercial & promotional world, helping businesses to communicate their messages and sell their services and products. I'm primarily a Sony user, normally operating in small crews or solo to produce a high level of professional work.
I take great pride in attention to detail & I’m passionate about the technology surrounding film making, continually looking for how it can help me to be as creative and efficient as possible. I love the variety of work my job enables me to do, I find myself in strange and wonderful places I never would have otherwise seen.
What started as a passion for creating animations on an Amiga when I was 8 years old, grew in to a film making hobby during my teens and then inspired me to study for an honours degree in Film Production Technology. Since then, all I've been doing for work is freelancing as a camera operator & videographerm, I can’t imagine doing much else! You will also find me collaborating with the Two Angry Gamers on my side project Rock Solid Productions, where we make light hearted video marketing content for the gaming and tech industry.
